The description states that "this is the film that triggered a new Congressional investigation of the Waco tragedy, and caused the Justice Department and the FBI to reverse their long-held positions on Waco." "Since 1993, former members of the FBI, former Special Forces and CIA operatives have come forward with new evidence to suggest that the FBI's claim is inaccurate." In other words, they lied under oath, AGAIN. If nothing else the film reminds us of how easy it is for our dear government to bring the military into the civilian realm and treat us like an enemy. When the government sees the people as it's enemy, we have a big problem. Waco never should have happened and this movie brings that fact home. A truly excellent movie, full up with new info, though occasionally quite graphic.

The war on drugs does three things very well. 1) It destroys the competition for CIA's drug smuggling and sales; 2) It kills poor people to clear the way for big corporations to come in and spread their "free trade" all around. The one thing the war on drugs doesn't do is keep drugs from being manufactured, imported, sold and used all over the world. Our prisons are overflowing with people who are there just for possessing small amounts of drugs for personal use while addicts are turned away from treatment centers all over the US every single day. They are told there is not enough money for drug treatment and that they will have to try again in a few months. Yet addicts never get turned away from a jail cell. There is no waiting in America's prisons. That should tell you where the governments real priorities are in the so called war on drugs.
