Jeanette Hawes Murders Her Children In Food Mart Bathroom

Children stabbed to death 22-year-old mother charged

Amanda Thomas, the assistant manager of the Patee gas station at 2260 Lumpkin Road, sensed that something was wrong when Jeannette Michelle Hawes, a regular customer, walked into the store Thursday afternoon with her 1-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter.

“She looked very distraught,” Ms. Thomas said. “I asked her if she was OK.”  Ms. Thomas said she saw Ms. Hawes take the children into the bathroom, and moments later “I heard the kids cry. Then heard a different sound — very undescribable,” she said.  After Ms. Thomas and three customers tried to unlock the bathroom door, she said, she called 911.

Upon arrival at the store, Richmond County deputies pried open the locked door with a screwdriver and found Ms. Hawes lying on the floor with her two children.  The mother, who Ms. Thomas said was an aspiring model, still had a black steak knife in her possession. The weapon was covered with blood, police said.  Ms. Hawes, 22, was charged Thursday with two counts of murder and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.

Shakayla Hawes, 3, and Jordon Hawes, 1, were pronounced dead at Medical College of Georgia Hospital at 3:30 p.m. by Richmond County Chief Deputy Coroner Mark Bowen.  Both children died of multiple stab wounds to the chest, Deputy Bowen said.

“You think you’ve seen the worst, but sometimes you still see something that tops it,” he said. “It’s probably one of the hardest cases I’ve ever worked.”

Wanda Barton, who lives next to the food mart in the Fairway Village Apartments, said she rushed to the scene in time to see Ms. Hawes being taken away by police.

“She wasn’t crying or showing any emotion,” Ms. Barton said.

Shelia Langston, who also lives in the apartments, said she just kept thinking of her own 7-year-old child.  “It don’t make sense,” Ms. Langston said.

Pit bull stabbed to death

News 12 at 11, November 26, 2007

Augusta, Ga. --- 13-year-old Elijah Hawes was playing with his pit bull Saturday night around 9:00 at his home on Bransford Road. The dog was on a chain in the front yard when the suspect, Ginger Arthurs, was walking by with her chow mix.

"The suspect in this case was walking her dog and at some point her dog broke free and charged the dog that was on the chain, those two dogs started to fight," Lt. Scott Peebles said.  Both owners tried to pull their dogs away from each other. Investigators said the suspect, Ginger Arthurs then pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the pit bull a number of times.

"I was just like 'whatcha stabbing my dog for?' and my god brother was trying to pull him away from her," Elijah Hawes said.  Elijah said he was shocked.  "My dog was so hurt he just let loose to the other dog and ran in the yard and died," Hawes said.

This incident report said Arthurs took her chow dog and ran to her apartment, where she was later taken into custody, and charged with cruelty to animals.  "She didn't have to go that far. She could've ran and called police, got help, or whatever," Jeanette Hawes said.  Jeanette Hawes said her brother was devastated.  "To actually hear my brother talk about what happened to his dog and it happened right here in front of him," Hawes said.

Elijah said he hated to see his dog die like that.  "I just can't see how a person can stab a dog to death. Like she wanted him to die because she kept stabbing him," Hawes said.

Neveah Richardson, 9-Days-Old, Dies From Sexual Assault
November 27, 2007

LINCOLN PARK — Her first name is "Heaven" spelled backward.

And that's exactly where those who knew and loved the little girl who was born three weeks premature say she's now resting.

Nevaeh Richardson was 8 days old when she was rushed to Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital on Friday.  Bleeding from the nose and mouth and with trauma to her rectum, she died about 24 hours later.  With the 9-day-old's death now ruled a homicide, investigators are working around the clock to find her killer.

Nevaeh's father, Christopher Ryan Richardson, 21, of Lincoln Park, is a suspect, along with others who were in the family's house in the 1400 block of Cicotte at the time the infant was injured. Police say Nevaeh likely was sexually assaulted.

While the homicide case is being investigated, Richardson is behind bars, accused of beating up his live-in girlfriend. He was arrested for domestic violence, third offense, for allegedly attacking the baby's mother as the couple drove the child to the hospital.

Richardson was in 25th District Court on Monday, where Judge David Zelenak ordered him held on a $100,000 cash bond pending a preliminary examination of the evidence against him. That hearing is set for Tuesday.  If convicted of the felony, he faces up to two years in jail and a $2,500 fine.  "I'm not guilty," Richardson said in court, before later requesting a court-appointed attorney and a lie detector to prove his innocence.

Police Chief Thomas Karnes said the infant's mother awoke early Friday and found Nevaeh lying on her chest, covered in blood.  The young couple, who lived with Richardson's mother and stepfather, went to Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital at about 1:55 a.m. with the child and grandparents. A 911 call was not made.  During the short drive, Richardson is accused of slapping his girlfriend across her face, grabbing her by her hair and threatening her should the baby die.

After doctors assessed the infant's condition, they notified police and transported Nevaeh to Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. She died at about 2:25 a.m. Saturday.  Richardson's mother, Adie Green, called police after witnessing her son assaulting his girlfriend in the back seat of her car. She said her son has an alcohol and drug problem and was drunk on the early morning in question.

"I'm not supporting him," she said yesterday. "I'm more concerned about the baby. She came from heaven and now she's back there. I don't understand how anyone could do something like this to a child."  As the incident occurred so close to Thanksgiving, Karnes said, there could have been people coming and going from the family's house.  Everyone who was in that home is being questioned and no one has yet been ruled out as a suspect in the child's death, Karnes said.

Police initially seized the infant's bedding and some of her diapers from the house in hopes of obtaining evidence, Karnes said. Officers returned Monday night and removed a curling iron and a hair straightening iron.  While he hasn't officially been named as a suspect, the investigation is focused on Richardson because of his criminal past.  "I'm not foolish enough to ignore that," Karnes said.
Richardson has two prior convictions for domestic violence and is on probation for a controlled- substance conviction in Roscommon County, court records show.  He also has been arrested at least two other times on domestic violence charges, but those cases were dismissed when the alleged victim failed to show in court. The girlfriend in question is the same woman in at least one of those cases.

Police Detective Lt. John Martin said his department is learning new information about the case every day.  "All of this stuff kind of ties together," he said. "We're still putting a lot of pieces together."

Karnes — a father of three and president of the Michigan district's Exchange Club, whose primary mission is to prevent child abuse — said this case has been especially hard for him to handle.

"This is a terrible crime," he said. "It's the worst thing I have ever come in contact with and it's the worst thing I've ever heard of."
David Spears, Chris Collings Arrested In Death Of Rowan Ford

November 10, 2007

CASSVILLE, Mo. (AP) — David Spears, and his friend, Chris Collings, 32, were charged Saturday with one count each of first-degree murder, forcible rape and statutory rape in the death of a 9-year-old Rowan Ford. Her body was found Friday in a cave in a remote part of McDonald County, about 10 miles south of the village of Stella, where she lived with her mother and David Spears. Based in part on Collings' statement, the affidavit sent to the prosecutor alleges that the men took Rowan from her home to a camping trailer where Collings lived in Barry County.

Once there, both men raped Rowan and one of them then strangled her with a cord. Myrna Spears told The Associated Press Saturday that her son admitted to her from jail Friday night that he had taken part in the crime. He claimed to have suffered a blackout and his memories of that night started coming back to him on Friday.

Things aren't what they seem.  There is more to the story than what officials are telling us.  Much more.  Can I prove that?  Do I have to?

Resident bush has been wrong about many things.  A great many serious things.  When bush makes mistakes innocent people die.

One of the PR firm slogans contrived to validate his phony war on terror was that we had to fight them over there so we wouldn't have to fight them here.  Guess what.  He's wrong again.  As usual.  They're here.  In fact it seems they may be us.

Peruse the items on this page and as they settle into the folds of your gray matter you'll begin to realize what I have realized:  there is more terror here in the 'homeland' than there is anywhere else in the industrial so-called civilized world.

The stomach turning truth is that people in this country are mentally imploding and when they do they commit crimes that literally go against nature.  This is far from normal  but even more worth your consideration is the fact that the sudden upsurge of unnatural crimes also doesn't pass the sniff test.  These crimes have no explanation.  How is that possible?  It's not possible.  Something is going on here.  Something we're not being made privy to.  Something that's painfully obvious and yet we're somehow not seeing it.

If there is one thing I've learned in life it's that everything happens for a reason.  No one ever does anything without a reason.  No one just commits crimes that are so heinous as to defy comprehension without a very serious reason.

People do not just snap.  No, I'm sorry, they don't.  They are pushed.  Somehow, somewhere, like Chinese Water Torture, they are pushed.  Do you know what Chinese Water Torture is?  It's immobilizing someone, laying them on their back, and then letting a single drop of water fall on their forehead, again and again and again and again until they go out of their mind.  Don't kid yourself about the power of one drop of water.  Over time it can bore a hole right through solid rock.

It's very insidious really.  You wouldn't think of a single drop of water as a weapon of terror and torture.  It seems gentle and harmless.  But when some seemingly small slight happens repeatedly and endlessly for hours, for days, for weeks, months, even years, many things we believe are harmless can actually be boring holes right through people's souls.

The cruel words, the put downs, the rudeness, the humiliation.

Having no time for our children.  Letting the state raise them every day from the age of preschool. Someone else is giving them their values and beliefs.  Someone else is explaining what  the world is, what life is, who and what they are and worst of all what their value as a human being is.  We live our lives in an endless rush, hurrying everywhere, there's no time to think.  No time for neighbors.  No time for friends.  No time to get involved.  No time to just be.

Expecting ourselves, our children, and everyone else to perform as expected, as accepted and directed by the capitalist system that owns us all where nothing matters more than money, making money, earning money, working, being employable, being obedient to the state and the institutions that encase our lives - it makes no sense.  It's unnatural.  It's unprecedented.  We're all living for the sake of the corporation and it's killing us.

Mass produced corporate products are killing us in a million ways.  Being bombarded with advertising every single day of our lives, we will never go a single day without being marketed to endlessly and repeatedly.  Think of that.  No one can ever hope to be free of the endless mindless yapping of commercials for one single day of our lives. Even during horrific catastrophies the stations break to market products to us.  Drugs and cars and deadly food.  Toys and toilet bowl cleaner. This is beyond depravity. It's also insulting.  It's also turning us into McDonalds eating suicidal selfish porn addicted junk food junkies who feel like losers and then become losers.

The media lies to us every single time they open their dirty mouths.  Lies are very profitable.  But what happens to a nation that is brainwashed out of remembering what life is for?  What the value of life really is?
We become irrelevant to a damned system.  We either join in to succeed or we are shamed and reduced and invisible.  There is no sympathy for those who cannot become competitive corporatized success seeking drones.  No sympathy at all.  There are lots of pharmaceuticals though.

What is missing from the endless stream of reports on teenage mall shooters and mothers murdering their own children is the screaming silence of the unasked question, "Why?"  Why are seemingly normal men and women in our country suddenly acting out horrendous crimes of sex and murder that cannot be stomached?  Why?   Could it be because of the way we treat each other?  Could it be because of the way the violence of our system abuses every last one of us?

Why are the authorities not asking why?  Is there any doubt that it needs to be asked?  What is causing this?  This is new.  This is not normal.  It is highly abnormal.  The depravity and ruthless murder of innocents we're seeing constantly today are new to our era, our time, our lives.  In the past if someone lost their mind and committed a murder it made the headlines.  Things like this were nearly unheard of.  People back then were not broken down, assaulted, made insane by whatever it is that's turning our society into a writhing trough of defecation and death. What - is - going - on - here?

The items listed here for your consideration represent only a tiny  fraction of the total number of crimes in these categories. They are becoming so prevalent that we, you and I, our entire culture, our whole country can no longer keep up with them all.  They don't make the front pages any more.  No one thinks about them.  When they happen there is a day, maybe a whole week of media attention and then they pass away forever into the netherworld of the forgotten.  We may consciously forget them, but spiritually it's not possible.  Spiritually we carry every single one of these crimes of depravity inside ourselves and they eat away at us.  They reduce the importance of life.  We become numb to the new reports, we've heard it all before. We are no longer able to feel the shock and the rage.  We've become used to it.

That's reason enough to shut off the damned TV sets once and for all and get a chance to cleanse our heads and breathe, and learn what really matters again because what really matters won't be found on any TV set. The media lies to us every single time they open their dirty mouths.  Lies are very profitable.

What happens to a nation that is brainwashed out of remembering what life is for?  What the value of life really is?  I honestly believe we have forgotten.

Our society is becoming used to the depraved indifference toward human life our broken inhumane systems have spawned.  This is profoundly important.  Think about it.  Think about it deeply.  Think what it means to live in a world that casually shrugs off mass murders, child rapes and murders, pedophelia, satanic ritual murders, corruption, official lies and bribes and criminality and all forms of depraved indifference to human life.  What kind of a world are we growing?

Understand this.  This is no accident.  Why are we doing nothing to stop it?  Why are we not in the streets every day, flooding the ungodly halls of government and demanding what we all know we must have?

We must have sanity, we must have humanity, we must care for one another.  There must be mutual respect, individual freedom for everyone.  We are not terrorists, we are not valueless lumps of flesh for corporate use - we are not human capital.  We are human beings.  They are commodifying us and we're letting them.  Do we no longer have the capacity to have a problem with that?  Are we still human?

Why are we letting them rape our minds and our lives and why are we not struggling at all?  What is wrong with all of us?  And if it's this bad now what will it be like in fifty years?  At any moment on any day we can overturn this insanity.  We can stop it by demanding it and by refusing to accept the rising prices, the cruelty, the government lies, the police state, the pandering to wealth, the racism, the wars, the state taking our children away, the corporations forcing vaccines into our families bodies.  It's not about officialdom, it's supposed to be about us. Our lives belong to us, not to the state, and not to the dollar.

Or, do they?
